Nov 27Mercy Housing Midwest Live in Hope
Thanks to the over 160 people who attended our second annual Mercy Housing Midwest lunch in Nebraska.
At the event guests heard from Kimberly and her two daughters on their experience of moving out of Council Bluffs during the 2012 floods and into one of Mercy Housing’s properties in Omaha. Their experience in being involved in various youth and adult programs was reflected when Kimberly, age 11 spoke saying, “I love being involved in the Peace Pals Program. When we go to a Mercy Housing program, we come home get a good night’s sleep so that we can do it all over again!” It is stories like this that reflect the positive and life changing experiences that our residents have at our properties. Stories like this can only continue with support from people like you.
