Mercy Housing Colorado to Host “Grapes and Cakes” Event to Benefit Affordable Housing for Coloradans

Denver, Colo.–As the affordable housing crisis continues, Mercy Housing Colorado seeks to raise awareness and support during its upcoming “Grapes and Cakes” event!

What: A fun evening of wine tasting at Wild Women Wine, paired with delicious cupcakes from local bakeries, to benefit Mercy Housing Colorado. Door prizes will be given away every half hour! Come enjoy wine, cupcakes, and support a great cause.

Why: Wind down the week with wine and cupcakes, all while supporting a great local nonprofit! Mercy Housing has 13 properties across Colorado that provide safe, affordable housing to more than 2,000 low and moderate income residents including families, children, veterans, seniors and people with special needs. Of those 2,000 residents at our Colorado properties, approximately 900 are children. In addition to housing, Mercy Housing provides residents with a stable foundation to active their dreams through onsite Resident Services. These include economic stability support, financial literacy education, health and wellness programing, afterschool programs, community engagement activities, and much more.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.mercyhousing.org/grapescakes. Your ticket includes a wine tasting when you arrive, all you can eat cupcakes from local Denver bakeries, awesome door prizes, and supports Coloradans who need our help! Come uncork the fun and support a great cause!
