Welcoming Mercy Housing California’s New Regional Vice President Of Operations, Lilli Lew-Hailer

We are pleased to announce that Lillian “Lilli” Lew-Hailer is joining Mercy Housing California as the Regional Vice President of Operations.

Lilli joins Mercy Housing from MidPen Housing, where she was Vice President of Housing Development for over six years. In her twelve years at MidPen, Lilli worked on new construction and renovation projects, developed building guidelines and real estate development standards, and championed sustainability and vendor diversity.

“We are thrilled that Lilli is bringing her experience and passion to Mercy Housing,” said MHC President Doug Shoemaker. “For an organization like ours to thrive, we count on fresh ideas and new energy, which Lilli has in abundance.”

Prior to MidPen, Lilli held key positions at New Boston Fund, Inc. and BRIDGE Housing. In her 20+ years in the housing field, Lilli has contributed to the production of over 4,500 new homes.

Lilli is driven by her passion for creating vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive communities. In her spare time, she enjoys creative endeavors, making things with her own two hands, as well as road trips, which remind her of why her great grandparents moved to the U.S. from China, Germany, and Scandinavia – and of the importance of creating inclusive communities.

“We thoroughly enjoyed working with Lilli throughout the course of the search,” said Tracy McMillan, CEO and Managing Partner of BroadView Talent Partners, who led the recruitment process for the role. “As one of the smartest and gutsiest candidates I have seen in over 27 years in this business, Lilli has the runway, upside, skillset, and competencies to make an immense difference in the daily lives of Mercy Housing California’s hardworking staff and the constituents served in its affordable communities.”

We hope you will join us in welcoming Lilli Lew-Hailer to the Mercy Housing California team.
