Dec 16Thank You for Believing in The Power of Home
The last time supporters of Mercy Housing Northwest came together in person to celebrate the Power of Home was in 2019. While so much has changed since then, one thing that has remained steadfast is your belief in Mercy Housing’s mission to create affordable and stable housing with onsite services for those who need it most.
This year, nearly 300 guests gathered at Campion Ballroom at Seattle University to raise critical funding to support Mercy Housing Northwest’s Resident Services. The theme for this year’s event was Housing as Healthcare. After listening to our keynote speaker, author Josephine Ensign and watching a video that shared testimonials from residents, guests walked away with profound examples illustrating the intersection between housing and healthcare.
Together we raised $310,000! Every dollar raised at this year’s Power of Home will help us expand the reach of our Resident Services programs. That means more resources to keep families housed, safe spaces for children to gather after school, and onsite activities centered on building community. On behalf of the board of directors, staff, and our community members, thank you for believing in the Power of Home.
