Volunteers Brittany and Joe help bring Thanksgiving to Grace Apartments
Thanksgiving at Grace Apartments wouldn’t be the same without Mercy Housing volunteers Brittany and her husband Joe! The residents at Grace Apartments are so thankful for all Brittany & Joe do for them, and for all of Mercy Housing. This year they managed to serve over 90 residents Thanksgiving dinner complete with turkey, stuffing, and apple pie! They also donated candies and goodie bags for the 400 residents of Francis Heights.
Living in The Gap Mindfulness Leadership Group Hosts Donation Drive for Clare Gardens Residents
Living in The Gap Mindfulness Leadership Group hosted a donation drive for residents at Clare Gardens. The group collected toys, and winter clothing items, and helped host a holiday party complete with a Chick-fil-A dinner! There were tons of toys to choose from, and an arts and crafts station to make holiday ornaments.
Holly Park Apartments Welcome Dunton Commercial for Holiday Celebration
Dunton Commercial is always happy to help Santa at Holly Park Apartments. This holiday season, their team of elves collected toys, basketballs, footballs, and winter gear items to donate to Holly Park and other Mercy Housing Mountain Plains communities. With tables full of items, volunteers from Dunton helped hand out gifts and spread some holiday cheer to the residents! They also helped to gift wrap for residents to take home surprises for their families.
AvalonBay Fulfills Holiday Wish Lists for Aromor Apartments
Community partners AvalonBay showed its commitment to Mercy Housing again this year by collecting household items for Aromor Apartments, which is home to individuals exiting homelessness. Volunteers from AvalonBay showed up with both full hands and full hearts…they were even treated to a tour of this historic building, which was once a hotel for dignitaries around the world. Thank you for continuing to support Mercy Housing with these amazing acts of generosity and kindness!
Volunteers Laura & Lyn Spread Holiday Joy to the Grace, Bluff, and Parkside Communities
Laura and Lyn have been loyal donors to Mercy Housing residents at Grace Apartments, Bluff Lake Apartments, and Parkside Apartments. For the past several years, they have not only provided much-needed toys and essentials during the holiday season, but they continually donate throughout the year when residents can often run short on essentials. This dynamic duo has collected and distributed everything from cleaning products and personal hygiene items to diapers and toys. We are so grateful for partners like Lyn and Laura who are so passionate about helping others in our local community. Their commitment and generosity inspire us all!

Mercy Community Capital, and the Mercy Housing Human Resources and Information Technology teams at helped make spirits brighter at Decatur Place Apartments with donations of toys and winter gear. We truly appreciate Mercy Housing employees joining in and helping to carry out our mission.
