Mar 02Line Dancing Seniors
Senior residents are getting healthy while grooving! McAuley Meadows in California recently introduced a class for line dancing, which is a healthy low impact form of exercise that has the added benefit of creating community among participants.

The first class had nine participants and five residents from that group performed the dance at their winter party. These types of services help residents not only with their fitness goals but also prevent social isolation, which can be a risk for seniors who live alone.
