Nov 06A Blessing for The Hub at Sunnydale

In preparation for the grand opening of The Hub in Sunnydale, an interfaith blessing ceremony celebrating unity and diversity was held on September 25. Representatives from Mercy Housing and San Francisco’s faith traditions joined this special day for a sneak peek of this incredible space, which now connects and supports San Francisco’s Sunnydale and Visitacion Valley neighborhoods.

The ceremony included remarks from various faith leaders and joyous singing from youth and adult choirs. Guests also enjoyed a traditional dragon dance, believed to bring good fortune, and a special performance by Native American Tribal dancers.
