About Sandstone Apartments
The Sandstone Apartments is an affordable apartment community designed for senior citizens 62 and/or disabled. We are taking applications for our clean, intimate and quiet 1 and 2 bedrooms. Our Sandstone Apartments has two buildings located within two blocks of each other. Both buildings are equally attractive and are centrally located in the beautiful historical town of Tenino. These properties are moments away from grocery stores, post office, banks, schools or just a nice slow stroll through downtown Tenino’s antique shops or to the beautiful Tenino historical park.
Special Eligibility: Housing for seniors 62 or older and/or disabled of any age. This property is partially subsidized through USDA Rental Assistance program for 22 out of 30 units. Current residents are given priority when assigning subsidies that may become available. Without subsidy your rent will be based on our non-subsidized rent levels for 1 or 2 bedrooms. We also take Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers in the non-subsidized units.
